About Bosue Vineyard

Owned and run by Paul and Liz Sibley with family help, Bosue Vineyard is situated about one mile from The Lost Gardens of Heligan on the south coast of Cornwall. The south facing slopes and mild Cornish climate perfectly suit the varieties of Rondo, Regent, Solaris, Johanniter, Phoenix and Orion Grapes.

The History

There has been a farm at Bosue for hundreds of years (the name Bosue in the Cornish language means “house of Ewe”) and we have found a reference to Bosue in the Parish records dating back to 1290.

The farm formed part of the Tremayne Estate, and until the farm was sold in 1986 was a typical small mixed farm and in latter years had a large egg  production unit

Cornish Wines from Cornish Vines

We process the grapes here and all the wine is made and bottled at our winery. We pride ourselves on a very low energy use in making wine as our crusher and destemmer is hand operated, and our press is a Hydropress using only water pressure. The only power we need is electric for the pump and for this we have solar panels

The only food miles the wine travels is to reach you! Online wine sales available
